When the disk is inserted and the system is brought up, the screen will display this menu. Selection of icons in the upper left corner determines what program is to be called up. The operator can select programs that will control and monitor functions in the building such as telephone switching, building lights, temperature control, water system, electrical circuits and breakers, and elevators. the perimeter of the menu contains (clockwise) a clock, calendar, monitoriing records, an explanation program, file editing for building information, an emergency button that presents a menu of automatic connections to fire, police, paramedics, etc..

Above this is a program to set the controls for the computer - that is cursor speed, key touch, reset clock, etc..
